
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that India has yet not officially informed us over Prashanta Kumar Halder alias P K Halder arrest. Decision would be taken if such information is received. He is accused in cases in the country. We will seek help from India to bring him back. He must have to face the trial if it is possible to bring him back.
The Minister told this to the reporters in reply to queries on Saturday (May 14).
He said, “Every possible effort will be made to bring P K Halder back to the country. The Government of West Bengal of India will be contacted if necessary.”
The Minister said, “We heard that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of India arrested P K Halder from Ashoknagar of West Bengal on Saturday noon. But they have yet not informed us the matter officially. However, we trying to know matter.”
