BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be taken to Evercare Hospital in the capital this (Wednesday) afternoon for health check-ups.

She will be taken to the hospital at 3:00 pm.

Quoting Professor Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain, BNP chief’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan on Tuesday (April 5) midnight said, “Madam (Khaleda) will be taken to Evercare Hospital around 3:00 pm today (Wednesday) for health check-ups.”

Khaleda, a 76-year-old former prime minister, has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye problems.

She was last admitted to Evercare Hospital on November 13 last year where she was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis.
