
Teachers and staff of all schools, colleges must get vaccinated by September 30. However, if someone faces any physical problem, it must be reported in written format.
The decision was taken in a meeting on Thursday (August 26), Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said.
Directions will be disbursed in this regard soon, she added.
Meeting sources said preparation is going on to reopen educational institutions by October. Coronary infections and deaths are currently declining. Besides, the vaccination program is going on in full swing. Teachers, officials, and employees of all schools and colleges will be required to take two doses of vaccine by September 30.
The education minister also said, “We need to know the percentage of corona infection to reopen schools and colleges. The decision will be taken after a meeting with the National Advisory Committee next week. According to their advice, we want to start teaching activities in the classroom with the physical presence.”
