
Dhaka University (DU) has decided to reopen residential halls from October 1.
The decision was taken in a meeting of Provost Committee of the university on Tuesday (August 24).
DU proctor Professor Dr Golam Rabbani conformed the matter.
He said, “From October 1, it has been decided to reopen the halls mainly for Honors final year students and Masters candidates. It has not yet been possible to bring all our students under vaccination. I hope it will be possible to bring everyone under the vaccine within September. It has been decided on principle to reopen the halls for all students from November on the condition of vaccination.”
